What Makes a Chicago Winner

After winning the series against the St. Louis Cardinals, a reporter asked Chicago Cubs owner Tom Ricketts “What is the secret to your success?”

Tom answered: “Pick the right people and let them do their job.”

Whether you are the owner of a baseball team or a short term corporate housing company, the right people are essential to the success of your enterprise.

For me, the two most important factors are character and caring. I believe true success is not necessarily how much money you’ve made but rather your reputation (although let’s face it, I love monetary success as well). I am so fortunate to have been able to put together a group of remarkable people who have defined our success in every way and genuinely care about each individual, client or guest.

Like Tom Ricketts, I have found my winners.
